EFL teaching strategies used by three teachers for the improvement of young learners' speaking skills (ages of 5 to 7) in an online context from the Metropolitan Region of Chile
Abstract
This research is intended to identify the EFL teaching strategies used by three in-service teachers from the Metropolitan Region of Chile in order to improve the speaking skill of very young learners from the ages of 5 to 7. For this purpose, the researchers carried out action researchusing a qualitative method to process the information gathered from semi-structured interviews applied to three school teachers. Besides, the findings were analyzed in content analysis tables, and then compared with the literature review made in order to design a didactic proposal using the strategies retrieved.
