Resumen
This research aims togive a critical and succinct review of the educational systems of England and Chile,including typesof schools, national curriculum, assessments and approach to modern foreign languages, inorder to compare the mand provide abrief analysis of deficiencies and strengths. In the same manner, this work seeks to share the experiences of two Spanish language assistants in the north of England as they improve their language skills and take an active role in the irrespective regions.
