Resumen
The present study attempts to describe and investigate how English teachers work with children with Specific Language Impairment who attend regular schools in Santiago of Chile. The research in general aims to identify some of the strengths and weaknesses of the educational system related to the field of Special Educational Needs in our country. The results showed that, generally, teachers do not receive enough training to work with SLI children. At the same time, inclusion is still an emergent concept in our country and cannot be implemented properly at regular schools yet.
